The Haunter of the Dark

Listen to *The Haunter of the Dark* by H. P. Lovecraft, one of his last and most terrifying tales, about a writer, an abandoned church and a light that should never have been awakened. Robert Blake, a young writer in Providence, becomes fascinated by the black church on Federal Hill. Inside he finds a strange crystal and a presence that fears the light. As a violent storm knocks out the city's lamps, the thing in the steeple begins to stir. Lovecraft weaves cosmic dread with a haunting personal tribute. Perfect for listeners who enjoy classic horror, the Cthulhu Mythos, cosmic dread and atmospheric weird fiction.
