The Mouse

Listen to The Mouse by Saki (H. H. Munro), a wonderfully witty short story filled with awkwardness, social embarrassment, and the sharp humour for which Saki is famous. A seemingly minor encounter with a mouse develops into an increasingly uncomfortable situation, as one unfortunate traveller tries to preserve his dignity under particularly inconvenient circumstances. Perfect for listeners who enjoy classic British humour, clever short stories, satire, and Edwardian fiction.
